Barbara Oliver hails from southern Indiana where she grew up a bit of a tom boy with a fondness for working with her hands and making things with solid objects. Once she grew up, this transpired into an unquenchable appetite for home remodeling, then woodworking, and finally she discovered metal working and thus this website was born.
She now resides in Clearwater, Florida, with her husband, daughter, and three crazy dogs. An avid fan of outdoor garden art, she has quite a collection of outdoor yard art and recycled junk metal sculptures.
Most days she can be found in her shop, surrounded by metal dust, rust and old oily stuff. Perpetually stained fingernails are a sure sign you have found her. A manicure? Why bother?
